A new type scam on Facebook

Recently I can see almost every day a new scam campaign by a Facebook/Instagram scam gang. They take some images from the web, often from Kickstarter, Indiegogo etc. – and they sell it at ridiculous low prices. Of course buyers will never get anything. Please let me know in case you see sites I should add here:

Other websites from this gang that are already down: 1mermaid.myshopify.com – crazyfox.store – elegpia.com – itstylish.co – supreme-q.myshopify.com – thecrazydealstore.com

You can see that all websites have the same style and largely the same products. This is one criminal gang that comes out with a few new websites every week.

This laser printer might be from a different scam gang: bigtrendys.com

Here are the expensive real gadgets products that the scammers often use: Snapmaker, Kniterate, Goliath CNC, Human Hoist, EBS Handjet, Stator Scooter, Migo 3D, DTV Schredder, Sobro Smart Table and many more.

Update on company name on credit card:
The scammers usually use their trade name, i.e. next2day or whatever they use, the fraud transaction itself is handled buy a Chinese credit card processor called iPayLinks. They fake Paypal colors, but have zero security and provide safe transaction for scammers. It is also used for ***.MyShopify.com transactions.

Have you been scammed? Here is what you can do:

  • Contact your bank
  • Dispute the fraudulent transaction
  • Have images of what you ordered
  • Have images of what you got, with your address and track number on it
  • It may help to talk to the disputes department
  • Many here have been successful getting their money back.

Please help and warn others! Copy & paste this page link whenever you see any of those scam ads – unfortunately I am already banned by most of the scammers.

      • When shopping on Wish, words like real, genuine, authentic, pure, original usually mean the opposite. There is a very easy way to avoid problems with Wish – don’t buy anything there.

    2. “Wish” pop up is another scam site. I love turquoise and I know what’s real. Price was too good to be true, but I though what the heck. I ordered a bunch of turquoise jewelry that actually showed real turquoise jewelry and the metal was supposed to be s925 sterling silver. When I recieved it it was not true turquoise. Then I also noticed that they had pictures of jewelry from “The Braford Exchange” I know this because I recieve their catalog and it was some that I really would like it ran $99.00
On Bradford’s site/magazine. The Wish site has it below a dollar.
They make knock offs of real turquoise jewelry and color stone that are not turquoise (most are plastic) if it’s too light it isn’t stone. I was terrible disappointed. I just want everyone to know that it’s a scam

      • Wish isn’t really one vendor, it’s like Aliexpress, a platform with mainly China vendors. With Chinese vendors you can safely assume that 100% of brand items are counterfeit.

    4. Winterlovezus, I clicked on the link and ordered the special they were advertising, which was essential oils, went through the process of making the order which should have been a total of $4.33, once finalised I looked at my account and noticed they deducted $149.98.
No confirmation of purchase, no contact from them, so have contact credit card agent who have cancelled the card and will be reimbursing the unauthorized transaction.
I’ve also reported them as a scam to Instagram.

      • I believe all wig offers from China are fraud. I added them to the long list. That list has not 430+ webstores, but I believe that one gang has well over 1000 scam stores.

    9. Bonjour,
